No tomorrow
| | I can't seem to get anything going for today (I'm writing this tomorrow, relative to today's blog), so I'll keep writing here (yesterday) for now (or then). |
| | I think this has something to do with the reconstruction work currently going on. I'll get back on in the morning. Meanwhile, tomorrow will remain blank (I guess). |
A whole blue book's worth
| | Eric Norlin treats us to the deep-as-shit thinking of Steven Fortney, a brilliant high school English teacher who can put together long conditional sentences with a skill that escapes all but the finest attorneys. |
| | I'll finish it after I go brush my teeth. |
When were you last cached?
| | My friends at Google are telling me that the search engine is re-caching frequently changing news sites on a near-daily basis. So I just checked a few sites and here's what I get: |
| | Pretty good even in the worst case. Wonder how the system chooses which sites to update more and less often? |
Under reconstruction
| | One of these hours you'll see a new design here. I mentioned this a few days ago, but now it will apparently happen. Stay tuned. |
Co-blogging
| | I'm writing up a buncha stuff for Linux Journal from here at LinuxWorld, which is taking up about 110 percent of my cycles right now. So check over there to see what's up. |
| | [Later...] After a false start (in which my report consisted of headline, dateline, byline and nothing else), my first day's report is up here. |
