Re: Time to impeach?
I thought that time came when the Supreme Court made the wrong decision in 2000. I've thought the same ever since. What depresses me is the ennui of the American People, and the high likelihood of another dynastic succession: Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton... Who would be next? Jeb? Then Chelsea? I agree with Keith Dick that the prospects are depressing, but I don't agree that they're all snakes. We need to restore democracy. I see that as something that won't happen first at the federal level. We need to fix the governance side of it locally and at the state level. And that requires networking politics and governance the same way we've been networking markets. A conservative republican once said to me "Most people just want the roads fixed." I think he's right. We need to start there.
