Actually, by statute, *all* music played online is covered by this. There is supposed to be signed release given to the webcaster and to SoundExchange, so that Sx will know not to worry about the royalties from that one webcaster's playing of that one artist or album.
I'm a Live365 broadcaster, playing Christmas music year round. My revenues for 2006 were $1,200. My royalty under the new CRB rates: ~$11,000. http://www.christmasmusic247.com .
