Re: Crippled iPhones, Nokias and evil carriers. Outside of the US, more people buy full-priced, unlocked phones. This allows them to use more than 1 sim, buy prepaids when abroad, and switch carriers at will. In the US, the iPhone will be simply an extension of Cingular. Outside of the US it will have the chance to come into its own -- providing that Apple decides to market and sell it on its own.
