Don't write Without the laptop, I can't get email or do anything but blog on the Linux box, and I don't even have time for that. So bear with me, ye who e. The mail will not be coming through for another day or two at the earliest. Everwhat The laptop has croaked, finally, I think — at least until the drive gets wiped clean and everything gets re-installed. My tech guy is coming over tomorrow to take it away and set up the new Titanium laptop I just ordered (and that Stewart talked me into). Meanwhile I'm trying to figure out how to get StarOffice going on this old Linux box I'm using now. It's been awhile. (On the upside, it has 106 days of uptime... not bad.) I'm covered with grime and dust from hauling boxes around the crawl space under the house all day. I feel like a crap miner down there.
