| | I love checkbox news. Dan Gillmor likes it too. I love anything that puts the user in charge. Let demand lead supply. Something important to add here: it shouldn't work differently for every news source. Users should see the same kind of choices and mechanisms at every news source. You get that when the independent developers and users lead the charge. IMHO. |
| | U.S. falls to #25 in broadband penetration that is, at the bottom of the Top 25. Also fell from 17th to 21st in Net Broadband Growth among OECD Countries. Tops in the latter are Denmark and Netherlands, which have either less regulation or regualtion that encourages growth. Unlike the U.S., where we have a regulatory protectorate for the telco/cableco duopoly. As we see, that's working out. |
