Public radio in SB
Doc, I completely agree with you that SB needs a vibrant public radio station, and I can't help but believe that the community will rally if the word gets out. But quite honestly, I don't know what to do, how this sort of thing is done. I'd like to buy a clue.
There was a time, in the late 60s/early 70s when local radio was really interesting, on AM and FM, with music and talk and timely local news coverage. I'd love to see some of that spirit return, but even just a good NPR feed would be terrific. It would be fantastic if the audio signal could cover the north county residents as well, and help to overcome the distances that separate us from each other.
