Thanks, John. True, I am an advocate for openness. I just don't know what to make of this case yet. So far it looks to me like Viacom doing what one would expect of them, and Google doing... Well, I don't know what Google is doing, so that's part of it. I've also got my hands full on other subjects right now. Looking back at it, I should have used used Fred Wilson's name rather than the name of his blog ("A VC"), in that link. But I wasn't absolutely sure it was Fred Wilson, so I just went with the blog name, because I was also in a rush. But in the absence of a name, and with two links running togetehr, it was easy to mistake the quote for my own opinion. Anyway, it'll be an interesting case. I'll try to watch it as closely as I can.
