This argument isn't among creative people, it's among credit-takers, on both sides. Well put. I'd add that the argument would be a lot easier to watch — and a lot more useful — if the credit -takers were not also discredit-givers. FWIW, I think Mundie in his latest went out of his way to give credit both to the GPL and to open source, while further articulating what Microsoft brings to business (if not to the infrastructural conversation). This is a lot more subtle and smart than his opponents in this debate give him credit for. Anyway, I gotta get back to work. There are responses to this message:
