Indeed marketing is a conversation Doc. Looking to replace our TV as family xmas present, I was confused as all get out by HDTV's and the related technology. Even consumer reports, which I subscribe to online, added to the confusion. Along you come on the morning I'm looking with your review of the Sony Bravia 40". What do you think we bought? Only difference was we bought the V model as opposed to the XBR - little difference and $400 less. We're real pleased so far.
