Hi Doc: I've been watching my own Technorati rank decline and like you my main response is: whatever. I used to get excited by these things but chasing rank feels a great way to reduce whatever quality my writing has. A college friend used to wink at me and say, "Progress by stealth". If he was right, maybe with your new lower profile your influence will simply grow :)
