I'll get to it ASAP, which probably won't be for a day or so.
Meanwhile, to me those bridge's main associations will always been their views. New Jersey in those parts is fairly flat. Coming over the bridges, especially northbound, you could see the New York skyline in the distance, across the industrial wastes what we now euphemistically call the Meadowlands. It's much nicer now than it was then, when there was often a deep orange-brown haze in the air.
