First, is the locked-in life not also an ideology?
Second, how do you like finding that the music you bought, with real money, won't play anywhere other than the computer you bought it on and the iPods associated with it -- unless you do tricks with "authorization" and "de-authorization"?
For what it's worth, I think iPods are terrific devices. I have two of them. It's the silo system I'd rather not have.
