What you can't see is what you don't get
| | Several weeks back I stood at a window in a concourse at Philadelphia's airport with several other passengers, taking pictures of an amazing sunrise. A few minutes ago here at SFO I walked over to a window at a concourse here to shoot pictures of an equally nice sunrise, and was told by a United worker to put the camera away. Pictures aren't allowed. I asked why. "Those are the rules. Pictures aren't allowed." |
| | As I recall several United uniformed folks in Philly also admired the sunrise then underway and even engaged me in conversation about my camera, choice of lens and stuff like that. Guess they're just a little less rule-bound there. |
| | Oh well. At least I'm getting an earlier flight out of here. One small blessing of carry-on lugging. |

Everytime I think about how far this country has slid towards Godwin's law since 9/11... I just get pissed beyond belief...ugh!
