Hi Doc - the Google URL thang - when you sign in to Google for they track the links you clicked - this is used to show you a history of how many times you clicked a link, and when you last clicked. To do this they use those URLs. It's annoying, I know. I don't find I have a lot of use for the feature, except when I'm trying to track down "that site I went to yesterday" for example from a search result. You can get rid of it by signing out of Google (the Sign Out link at the top right) - well, I'm pretty sure you can anyway...
