Henry Ford, bunk and algebra
A speaker: "History is bunk."
Another speaker: "Who said?" (Speakers now alternate)
"Henry Ford said."
"Who's that?"
"He's dead."
"Who was that?"
"He was the founder of the Ford Motor Company."
"When was he born?"
"Sorry, don't know."
"When did he die then?"
"Sorry, don't know that either. My history..."
"What about your history?"
"It's a bit rusty, I'll admit."
" 'History is bunk' is what you said, right?"
"It's what Henry Ford said."
"And Henry Ford and his statement on bunk are part of history, rusty or otherwise, right?"
"Er, right."
"Ever take algebra?"
Yes, Oh, x and -x cancel each other out."
"So?"
"Like one bunk cancels out another bunk?"
"So?"
"Er, history isn't bunk?"
"Right!"
