Bar of gold
| | I've been at BarCamp Austin for the last few hours (it's 6pm now) and all I can say is that it kicks azz. I don't have time to say more (or the bandwidth, frankly; though the connection is solid and stays up), because there are too many good 'n fun conversations going on. |
| | Blogs to remember (because we're talking bout them here): Telepocalypse (via Wes Felter), Will Pate (who is for hire), John Cooper (who is doing great grass roots work here in Austin and Central Texas), Esme Vos (who isn't here, but is being talked about), Tara Hunt (who gave a great Cluetrain Marketing talk here at BarCamp), Tantek Çelik, who gave a talk I missed but others managed to attend), Marc Canter (who is asking questions of Matt Mullenweg, who's leading a WordPress discussion), Matisyahu (the hassidic reggae performer who's at a nearby bar and we're missing), Alex Jacobson (of Pass.net, among many other things), Tony Pierce (who isn't here at BarCamp;, but with whom I finally got some nice hang time we'd barely crossed paths before), Luke Nosek (PayPal co-founder, among many other things), Ask a Ninja... |
upXdown at SXSW
Here and there
| | I'm in Austin, where I slept late for the first time in many days, a necessity forced on me by my neglected body after too many sleep free nights, capped by a great time hanging out with Tony Pierce and other fun folks at BuzzNet party HQ. Showered and refreshed, I'm headed over to SXSW and BarCamp Austin. |
| | See (at least some of) you there. |
