Binding to reputation - a theory (untested) of mine that if you associate "content" with a person, the person will be more careful about what they put into the content. As for calling bullshit, you're right... it's almost always going to be a flame war, but not always. What I'm interested in is the more general ability to label stuff I find on the web, and seeing how other people might label it as well. I don't quite buy into the delicious model of doing it though. Just flagging something, without giving it attributes, severely limits the usefulness of the flag. The ability to rate things is a powerful tool, one that is denied by the read-only nature of the web.
