Suggestion... Avoid direct flash. Adjust the ISO to 200, 400 or even 800, and use shutter priority. Shoot at 1/30 or even 1/15. Flash makes ugly pictures, generally. Skin washes out, looks strange and unnatural. Unless you bounce your flash, which I highly recommend. I never use the camera's built-in flash. I only bounce, if I use flash. Like, say, here. :-) ... and in that whole series.
