My blogroll is a legacy link list with way too much rot in it. I'll put links in there that I think I'll want for the next .. whatever, length of time... and leave them there forever. Gotta fix that. Anyway, yes, the blogroll is useful to me, to a degree. But it's not a regular reading list. Just something I check once in awhile. The point of RSS is to notify the world, and those willing to subscribe, that something has been published. It also make possible the search of recent things. Minutes may pass before a post shows up in Technorati or Feedster or Pubsub. There are responses to this message:
