Shooting from the middle
Drive-by uploads
| | Yesterday I was pleased to discover that the problem with an external drive that crapped out was the enclosure rather than the drive itself. The electronics were bad. In the new enclosure, the drive thrives. I am especially pleased to see that my collection of digital photos about ten thousand of them are all fine. (They are now being backed up, even as I blog, on a new 500Gb external drive.) |
| | So, naturally, I've uploaded a bunch of pix to Flickr (still pushing toward that 2Mb monthly ceiling for November, which ends today). |
| | This set, taken out the window of a plane from JFK to LAX, was one of many taken with my old Sony DCR-220BT camcorder, in photo mode. I really wish the resolution and color was better, but they were still fun to take. I'll fill in the descriptions later when I have time (if I ever do). |
| | This one was taken during a visit to my mother's place in Graham, North Carolina in January 2003. It features my barber there, Kenneth Wood, who has been cutting hair, mostly in the same location, since 1927. (The longer story is here.) |
| | There are other sets too, visible to friends and family. |
