I'm not convinced it's all due to AdSense
They're not all collecting AdSense cents; a lot of the spam blogs, from a quick tour using the BlogSpot "Next Blog" button, seem to exist simply to stuff Google's indexes with keyword spam. (And "splog": ugh, what a horrible neologism that is.)
