Tagged Clips, not Transcripts
Transcripts? Way too laborious! We need, instead, to create a folksonomy around segments of podcasts--that way we are all responsible for contributing the metadata, just like with del.icio.us and flickr, et al. To make it useful, though, we need to be able to tag listener-defined segments of podcasts, not whole podcasts. I sketched out a possible interface for such a plan that I call Podilicious: http://homepage.mac.com/dave7/podilicious/podilicious.htm Unfortunately, I'm too much of an ignoramus to know how to build it.
