Defining Journalists
Regarding the quote from July 3: "in a world where commentators are constantly trying to determine the difference between a blogger and a journalist, may i suggest that a journalist is a professional willing to go to jail for their profession." While I agree with this in principle, I don't see it applying to the 40-something 'journalists' that work in the sports desk at my local papers. Or some of the other section desks.
