I discussed this extensively with Milton Mueller at both ZDNet (http://blogs.zdnet.com/open-source/?p=319)and at Mooreslore (http://www.corante.com/mooreslore/archives/2005/06/07/should_the_internet_be_governed.php) Where you stand depends on where you sit, and we should understand that Tucows has a very good thing with ICANN. I think they're over-reacting, but it's good that we're back to discussing Internet governance, because it's running away from the U.S. due to international disgust with U.S. policies.
