Elevator controls: they only seem logical
Doc, Regular elevator controls only _seem_ well designed because we are used to them. I once that the privilege of riding in an elevator with a very bright 19 year old who had never been in an elevator before. We were on the 3rd floor and wanted to go down to the lobby. She pushed the up arrow. I asked her "Why in sam hell did you push the up arrow"? She said, "I can see from the display above the elevator that the elevator is currently on the ground floor. I want the elevator to come up to our floor to pick us up.". Perfectly logical. Totally wrong.
