Re: Patrick Sky, not Tom Lehrer
As I recall (and it's been a loooong time), WBAI in New York (and Larry Josephson especially) played the song quite a bit, and talked about how it was one Lehrer wrote but couldn't perform on an album. He did perform it. Did he ever perform anybody else's songs? Anyway, I'm still betting it's a Lehrer song, originally. Anybody got proof one way or another? There are responses to this message:
