Corncasting
| | Ran across Talk of Iowa Focus on Finance podcasts. Since I tend to organize my inner world geographically (viewed from above, literally), these sit alongside Tony Steidler-Denison's outstanding Roadhouse blues podcasts. The best blues you've never heard. These are, easily, my favorite podcasts for driving. Great bang-the-steering-wheel roadhouse blues numbers, one after another. I never thought I'd get back into music listening in the car, but Tony did it for me. A high-four (wheels) to the dude. |
Press hacking exposed
| | Paul Graham: A surprisingly large fraction of what you read in newspapers and magazines consists of such press hits: stories that, though not false, are there because someone paid for them to be. |
| | Thanks to Kevin for the pointer. |
| | By the way, the BBC's late moves into the podosphere follows Kevin's long campaign calling for exactly that, and more. Next step: If we can have an auto-assembled morning commute playlist of brief items from lots of people, rather than a 45-minute 'experience' from one, that is a great improvement for both listeners and creators. |
Wish he'd moved from Santa Barbara instead
Least of all with network television
| | Jeff Jarvis: It's one matter to give witness and learn lessons, another to exploit. I'm not sure we can find the line yet. |
Hear it there first
| | Sure I'm far from the first to say Scott Sigler has launched (what he says, and I'm sure is) the world's first podcast novel: Earthcore. |
