Regarding HST and the TV news, it might interest you to know that, here in the UK, they had a special feature about him on last night's <cite>Newsnight</cite>, which is BBC2's highbrow evening news/magazine program. I didn't learn anything about him that I didn't already know, but it was interesting to see footage of him. The respect for him in mainstream circles here has been astonishing, now that he's dead. I heard the news on BBC Radio 4's top news program, <cite>Today</cite>, and <cite>The Independent</cite> gave up the whole front page to a reminiscence by Ralph Steadman. He'll be sadly missed.
