Rose garden
| | A few minutes ago, at 11:30pm local (Eastern) time, I got back in my hotel room here in Boston, punched up Channel 2 (WGBH, the PBS station), and was greeted by Charlie Rose introducing Ana Marie Cox, Andrew Sullivan, Glen Reynolds and Joe Trippi, talking about blogs. And it's a great show. Since most of ya'll are West of here, there may still be a chance to catch it. What you get, I think, even better than one does on their blogs, is that these are all interesting and likeable people, having a great time. I see Glen is watching. Andrew too. |
| | Not many names being mentioned... Glen just credited Technorati as a source... Podcasting just came up.... and now it's over. |
And my fingers are tired
| | Easy flight to Boston, most of which I spent writing and rewriting stuff for Linux Journal. I'll be joining my LJ colleagues today for the first Linux World Expo in Boston (it used to be in New York), where it's rainy and gloomy outside. |
| | If I have time to blog the show, it'll be over at IT Garage. By the way, others are invited to blog there as well, about anything related to Independence in IT. |
Polarization joke
| | They said conservatives don't take out after people like lynch mobs, but that's just what they were, which is pretty much par for the course these days; say one thing, do the opposite, blame everyone to the left for your lies and smear them with your own filth while you're at it. Note in the chat transcript below that they talk about "going out in wolfpacks" to attack "libs" with whom they disagree, just for fun. |
