Don't stand on the cracks in the pavement
The entertainment cartels are fracturing, even though my friend Judi points out that the uncreatively-named Apple SuperDrive, which records DVDs, will not dub over mainstream movie DVDs, even though it's legal. In other words, it can't be used to mint copies of DVDs you buy at the store.
This is also consistent with the inability of my Mac laptop to take screen shots of DVDs in its player, which is a minor bummer.
By the way, the SuperDrive is not only a bad name, but identical to a third-party external drive that sold into the Mac market after Apple stopped installing floppies.
