The 8th Clue
| | So I started listening (I bought the CDs) to the 8th habit and on page 6, I hear Mr. Covey say: |
| | In their 1999 book, Cluetrain Manifesto, authors Locke, Levine, Searls and Weinberger put it this way: |
| | All of us are finding our voices again. Learning how to talk to one another. |
| | Covey then goes on to quote some selected passages from Cluetrain. Covey relates to the message of voice. In fact he adds another sub-title to the book in the first chapter The 8th Habit - Find Your Voice and Inspire Others to Find Theirs. |
| | Thanks to Mike for spotting that, and for exploring the whole subject. |
Needed: a Weblogs.com barn-raising
| | With Typepad, MSN Spaces and Blogger and a gazillion other blogs pinging weblogs.com, the server, which is written in scripts, has met its match. It's needed a rewrite in C for some time, now it really needs a rewrite... |
| | I'd be happiest if this could be done as an open source project, the lots-of-eyeballs thing is particularly suited to this kind of project. It has to scale well, obviously, from Day One... |
| | This server has performed a free public service for years now. Dave still carries the costs. Maybe one or more of ya'll can return the favor. Follow the top link above and write to Dave if you can help. |
