Regarding "By the way, eBay does have great bargains on the Sony mentioned above, plus the older and somewhat better DCR-PC110. Credit where due.": it's not eBay that has the bargains, it's the retailers selling through eBay. That's probably the most common mistake I hear when people talk about "eBay does this" and "eBay does that". I like to compare eBay to the people selling space on flea markets: they collect a feee, and you don't expect *anything* else from them. There are responses to this message:
