Remember hockey?
| | The one thing I never understood about hockey was the love both fans and players have for figthing. "I was at a fight the other night when a hockey game broke out" is more than a joke. |
| | I believe we're at the same point now in basketball. According to this ESPN survey, a substantial minority think the NBA's punishments for players involved in The Brawl were too harsh. (Bear in mind that, for a player, leaving the bench for a brawl is a punishable offense, and that going into the stands is an actionable no-no and that we're lucky no innocents got severely injured or killed.) |
| | Folks, you just want a rematch, don't you? |
The Doctor's first podcast
| | Love what he just said about how newspapers have "learned the technique of stripping voice from stories". Wow. So true. |
| | The talk was recorded by CSPAN, which would make a great mainstream podcasting source, methinks. |
