I had the misfortune recently to need to look up some information about radiometric dating methods (I wasn't clear on the distinction between potassium-argon dating and argon-argon dating). Google's results show the net effect of years of shouting and a tremendous waste of human resources--the results are dominated by creationist attempts to explain away radiometric dating and by scientists' explanations as to why the creationists' arguments are bogus. I just wanted to know about argon-argon dating. (sigh) There are responses to this message:
