Know any good synoptic jokes?
It occurs to me that the half-life of a joke is a tiny fraction of, say, a parable. Or, more to the point, the time that passed between the Life of Christ and everything written about him. So all the jokes have been lost.
You know He was funny, right? He had to be. That loaf & fish thing must have been great schtick.
Anyway, this came through Joyce's mails this morning. I heard her laughing and insisted on seeing what was up. She's a tough audience. Sure 'nuf: funny it is.
