Possibly! http://pro.sony.com.hk/pr20040306k.html There is also the possibility of 2.4GHz wireless mic systems which have been around since at least 2001. Even if not actually operating on 2.4GHz they use such a large amount of RF gear ( wireless cameras, mics, talkback, intercoms etc) on such a wide range of frequencies that the resulting RF "soup" in the convention will easily desensitize WIFI receivers to the point of uselessness ( $50 WIFI cards have out-of-band rejection appropriate for their price point ! ).
