Especially in August. Most of the corn before that isn't from Jersey, or isn't that good.

I'll have to agree on corn and tomatos, and I do like Jersey blueberries. But NOTHING beats Maine blueberries. Lobster and blueberries for every meal, that's what I say.

"Are the networks using 2.4GHz for video somehow?"
Possibly! http://pro.sony.com.hk/pr20040306k.html
There is also the possibility of 2.4GHz wireless mic systems which have been around since at least 2001.
Even if not actually operating on 2.4GHz they use such a large amount of RF gear ( wireless cameras, mics, talkback, intercoms etc) on such a wide range of frequencies that the resulting RF "soup" in the convention will easily desensitize WIFI receivers to the point of uselessness ( $50 WIFI cards have out-of-band rejection appropriate for their price point ! ).

That's probably so. But in my experience it's usually other stuff that screws up wi-fi, not wi-fi that screws up other stuff.
How much ya wanna bet that there will still be wi-fi there? :-)
