Sharing Your Monitor Woes
My faithful "weighs half-a-ton" ViewSonic went black last week, producing a brief "bzzzt" and a delightful aroma of melting wiring. I'm currently squinting at an oldie but good Sony. Like you, I'm unlikely to get an LCD, since CRT's are cheaper and, frankly, produce a better image. Is there, however, anything useful that can be done with a dead monitor?
