Jedi nightfall
I was looking at this page on Amazon's Web Services, when this page from Google's marketing replaced it and told me "Monitizing your content is as easy as one-two-three." I was shocked. Appalled. Also wrong.
After a second, I realized that I must have clicked on a jumbo Google ad by mistake. Which was exactly the case.
Then I realized how vigilant I am about signs that Google might turn evil. I have this fear that Google, the force-filled Jedi search knight, might turn to The Dark Side, going through whatever-it-is that happens to Anakin in Episode 3, that we haven't seen yet, but know is coming because in the Before scenes he's a handsome bad actor and in the After scenes he's a fearsome man-droid in dark robes with the voice of James Earl Jones on a respirator and the living remains of his human head pickled inside a Nazi hockey helmet with wraparound shades.
So I worry. And I get a little jumpy. Especially on no sleep, which is what I've had since yesterday morning.

Moxie in demotopia: Some days I would like to be a Democrat. You know, take it easy live off the system.
The lady is on a role. I love it.

Saved by the song
Big Rick told me a bunch of Sirius' music stations are now carried on DishTV. And sure enough, they are. And they rock. Which is extra cool, because the Dish music channels ranged from annoying to blah. Random stuff on CD shuffle.
Until this, I was seriously thinking of cancelling the whole thing. We watch TV that little.

Not your same old blogsquat story
MIchael O'Connor Clarke delivers a righteous rant about a discontinued Blogger blog that got squatted upon by somebody, resulting somehow in the invisibility of many archival posts, among other bad things.
Read it. There's a caveat bloggor story in there.

What you shoot is what you get
Nice window seat photo gallery said to have been inspired by Rex's, said to have been inspired by mine.

Colinoscopy
 Chris Nolan:
There is one sure-fire way President George Bush — despite everything — can get himself re-elected.
He can make Secretary of State Colin Powell his vice president.
 Good thinking follows, as usual.

It's 3:40am, and I just got my first phone text message spam. Something about finding out bad things friends are doing. Like I'm in high school.
I never get text messages. My phone is a now-ancient Nokia, from back in the days when the phone was just a phone and the button layouts still made sense.
One more reason to put off getting a new one.
