Back
| | Yesterday was the first time I've ever driven to a meeting 380 miles away and back the same day. Except I didn't make it. After dumbly taking 101 instead of 280 out of The City, and sitting for an hour parked in traffic (never did find the cause... road work? an accident? hardly matters), I crashed at a Ramada in Mountain View at midnight. Beat falling asleep on the highway. Now I'm stopped at a Starbucks in Salinas, refueling for the next 280 miles. |
| | Anyway, the Technorati Developers Salon was a fun meeting. J.D. exaggerates a bit when he calls me a "co-moderator," in the caption to this picture from his gallery. (I'm on the advisory board, and was there in that capacity.) Fifty-some people attended. I told Dave Sifry it was "your smallest developers conference so far." |
