Doc, Every President is beset by wolverine reporters. I've witnessed that since the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. I could count on my hand, the number of reporter questions at press conferences supporting a president's policies in the last 40 years. The rest are questions of contempt and belittling. I think most of the Washington Press Core is a bunch of wimps. It would be better to have a pool of American reporters nationwide, that get picked at random to cover a Presidential Press Conference. At least that would be better cross-section coverage than what I've seen in my lifetime. I think the President got his message across. That is, a message of staying the course in the War on Terror. Regardless of how he said it, America isn't turning away from the battles ahead. I support President Bush and the United States military. Don
