Better later than never
| | Up early and getting ready to drive to LAX for a flight to Ixtapa. No, I've never heard of it, either. Odd that I've been all over the states, plus Australia, New Zealand and much of Europe, but hardly ever to Mexico: two day trips in 1963 (when I was a teenager from New Jersey on a family camping summer) and a drive down to Rosarita from San Diego in 1998 or so (when my excuse for not staying longer wasn't as good). |
| | Anyway, where I'm going is up the coast from Acapulco. |
| | I'll be back late Saturday. Then we finish moving on Sunday. Right now the only moving we've mostly finished is my office. This is my first blog from there. Less room than the old place, but a much nicer house. |
| | Hate to leave right after almost settling in, but duty calls. See ya on the back side. |

Drum roll please:

(you had to roll the d's and r's)
Hear ye, Hear ye!
First 2004 event of 36+ hour lapse in postings on this blog.
Or in recent memory.
Hear ye!
----------------------------------------------------------------
It seemed newsworthy, but where esle but here to take note of it?

Okay, now an update.
Despite his claim to have taken a trip to a remote (read: no WiFi) Mexican location, the 3+ day lack of blog entries has an entire international readership community wondering WTF is this (and that has nothing to do with any smart or dumb conferences coming up in April)?!?!
Concerned bloggers are considering calling in a search party. People from Orkut consider themselves expert at both search and party, although not necessarily in delivering results in far-flung loci in Mexico.
Perhaps that inscrutable, irascible and inveterate seeker of truth, aka RageBoy, will gather the posse ("No, Silver, I said POSSE!") and mount the search.
Or, if they find themselves in Mayan ruins, search the mount.
More news as it happens.
