When we moved a couple of years ago we had SBC come out five differnet times. One guy broke the connection the previous guy had made to connect the fax line and made the phone answer with a fax tone, etc. .. On the fifth call we got the miracle man. He told us his job is to fix things when SBC themselves have broken things four times at one place. I have his number and email. He likes me. I won't share it easily.
