Doc, all of the current iPods have recording capability. You just plug in the Belkin Voice Recorder and you can record until the hard disk fills up! They make an add-on for radio, although for me, the main purpose of iPodding is to get as far away from the radio as possible.

according to the apple store:
Supports all iPods with Dock Connector. Does not support iPod mini
i use it with my 30 G iPod, and it has alot of feedback if what you're recording is too loud. I'm looking forward to the Griffin voice recorder that will be out in April, which has automatic gain leveling, to allow it to record either soft or loud sources.
