I enjoyed the keynote. With the loss of MacWorld NY, we can't expect Apple to announce every major development in one show. In fact I was doing some research recently for a MacWorld piece and found that Apple has traditionally spread their product announcements throughout the year.

I have to say I'm rather pleased. The new mini iPod is welcome in my book...I think we'll see a price drop in time, but another marvel of engineering for Apple. Personally, I expect we'll see additional product announcements by Feb...and I do expect good things this year in hardware and software.
So far the best announcement I've seen came from El Gato...and their introduction of a high quality DVR and a streaming solution for the home...something that finally does a good job at the right price point. Check the EyeHome FAQ out at:
