Not the best topic to wander into a blog on. Welcome to the age of unreinforced masonry - there are hundreds of cities the size of Bam that are waiting to happen. This disaster needs response, but the next one needs to be prevented. Building standards need to be raised around the world, and construction needs to be improved where it is below standard.
