Backjacking 
| | There's a terrific piece of portable furniture called the back jack, which I highly recommend. |

| | I'm talking about the fact that I'm sitting in a back yard in Los Altos, where I have a choice of two open wi-fi avenues onto the Net. The only drawback to either is that I can't send mail the normal way. (Though through the miracle of ssh tunneling I can do that one too.) |
| | I love this shit. It just rocks. |
| | Today it's off to hang with the relatives again, while also taking a long side trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Nice to have a Family Weekend after all those geeky conferences. |
