To make sure a blog gets into Technorati, you can submit it manually at http://newhome.weblogs.com/pingSiteForm. Technorati uses the Weblogs.com feed as a seed for their database. I just submitted Jared's blog, and it should show up on Technorati within about 5-10 minutes. I just checked and it's now listed. Only two links so far. The reason (I agree with The Scobleizer Weblog), is that he doesn't have any links to other bloggers, so no one has found him (until today). Bloggers find other bloggers via referrer logs, trackback pings, and via Technorati. Now that you have linked to his blog, that's probably all the help he needs -- watch his cosmos grow throughout the day :-) The bottom line is, blogs are conversations -- and Jared's blog hasn't yet engaged in conversation with other blogs.
