War and Peace in a Neutral Global Village
The anger-factor is part of the reason http://www.moustech.info is a "Neutralblog." Neither a warblog or a peaceblog, I made the choice to keep my blog consistant with being a nonviolent middle way Buddhist, United Nations Association Board member, and former Assistant Regional Coordinator of Red Cross International Services. Even neutrality has come under fire in this war. Neutrality is the legal framework under which all humanitarian relief efforts will be conducted, by the UN, by the Red Cross, and by NGOs. International Humanitarian Law outlines in large part the legal basis for neutrality. So when President Bush says no one can be neutral in the war on terrorism, he is partially saying that International Humanitarian Law will not be respected, becasue this is where one's legitimate neutrality is defined.
